Shake well. Apply with a soft, flat brush. Allow to dry before adding additional coats. For a more intense color, apply over a similar DecoArt acrylic paint color or black. Water-based. Permanent. Soap and water clean up.

For a solid coverage, use a similar color in Americana Acrylics to basecoat the surface.

Let completely dry before applying additional coats.

When first applied, Holographic Illusions will have a slightly milky look, but will dry completely clear.

For an accented or sparse look, use a contrasting color and apply Holographic Illusions sparingly.

They work best when applied with a fan brush or another thin, flat brush to a textured surface, which helps grab the paint for more glitter coverage.

It's always a good idea to keep a separate set of brushes designated for use with glitter paints.
